Why The League was founded
The League grew out of conversations with women across the legal industry about what we could build together.
The legal industry runs on relationships. Over the years, I saw how connected the men around me were, and how often those connections shaped who worked together. Those conversations turned an observation into an idea we could build on: a shared table where we get to know each other’s work and become more intentional about doing business together.
That idea became The League. Our goal is to create more opportunities for women to make money by building relationships, understanding what each of us brings to the table and considering one another when we do business. Along the way, we want to build the kind of community where you know who to call for a referral, a trial tactic, an event collaboration, an honest opinion or simply to catch up with a friend.
We launched in 2023 and grew into a community of more than 200 women. I believe a rising tide lifts all boats, and every woman who joins brings her own experience, ambition and relationships to this community. What we build next is something we build together.

The people behind The League
A small group of women volunteer their time to run The League. No one is paid for their position, and all proceeds go directly back into the organization. We are building something we want to be part of, too.
